Totally Awesome 80's Murder Mystery Dinner: a record release party with a deadly twist

ShareFacebook

When

Friday, October 30
7:00 PM

Where

104 N Center Ave
Piedmont, Calhoun County, Alabama

It is the biggest record release party of 1986. The tunes are rad, the hair is big, the shoulder pads have shoulder pads, and somewhere between the first track and the final encore, somebody in the room is going to hit a sour note they do not come back from.

That is where you come in. On Friday, October 30th at 7 p.m., guests take over 104 N Center Ave in downtown Piedmont for an interactive whodunit served with a full dinner. You spend the evening working the room, hunting clues, and questioning suspects, then see if you can name the killer before the night ends. Costumes are optional, but this is the one night your loudest neon, denim, and leg warmers count as detective work. It lands the night before Halloween, so make a weekend of it.

The night comes from Southern Ghost Girls Tours, the same crew behind the Wild West and Buffalo Express mystery dinners at the depot, so you already know the kind of evening you are signing up for.

Best part: every ticket benefits Venecia's Foundation, the Piedmont nonprofit that packs care bags and hands out gas cards so cancer patients across northeast Alabama can get to treatment and back. You get the party. A patient gets a ride. More about the foundation below.

Tickets are on Eventbrite. Questions go to southernghostgirls.com.
