Boundary Line does not cross its bison with anything. No beefalo, no hybrids, just pure American Bison grazing open pasture, grass-fed and grass-finished. The meat runs around 95 percent fat-free, is USDA processed, and comes in any cut beef does, from steaks and roasts to ground and jerky. The ranch has been a National Bison Association member since the first animals arrived and is a proud member of Sweet Grown Alabama.

Waste has no place in this kind of work. Bones go to broth pots, carvers, and artists. Hides and skulls find their way to Native craftspeople. The ranch even helps other operations get started with their own herds, and raises herbs on the side.

Most Alabamians have never seen an American Bison up close, and the Whites are working to change that one tour at a time. School groups, FFA and 4-H chapters, scouts, church groups, homeschool co-ops, and civic organizations are all welcome, by appointment. Reach out a few weeks ahead with your group size and ages. Tours are priced by the group, so call or email for a quote.
