A new Piedmont business celebrates its grand opening
The Shops at Macy's On Main celebrated its grand opening on August 1, 2026.

Main Street South has been a favorite business in Piedmont. It is now open under a new name, "The Shops at Macy's On Main," and under a new owner, Piedmont and Spring Garden local Macy Reedy! Her new shop, Macy's On Main, is located on Main Street next to Pinhoti Pizza. It hosts vendor booths supporting local businesses around the area and is now accepting applications for vendors.
Macy's On Main sells a little bit of everything! When I walked in for the first time, it blew me away how big the shop is! It is over 10,000 square feet of shop space. There is everything from new and vintage furniture, antiques, and women's clothing boutiques to wreaths, baskets, and even a selection of local honey.
I could have spent a decent amount of time just making my way through the store because there is so much to check out. Places like this bring the best of local shopping into one location. What Macy is doing with her shop is a great way to help support local businesses.
